A Hampshire-based PR and marketing agency has opened a new office in Cornwall.
Empra, which was set up in 2006 by former Cornwall College staff member, Ruth Sparkes, has opened on Lemon Street, Truro.
The new operation is being headed-up by Nikki Baron, former head of advertising with Devon & Cornwall Media.
She said: “Having worked with Ruth before and knowing she wanted to expand, Truro seemed the perfect place to help grow the agency and take advantage of new opportunities.
“We are delighted to have secured a Lemon Street address, which gives us a an important ‘foot print’, firmly placing us in Cornwall and the south west.”
Empra is particularly known nationally in education circles and recently launched a new product for state-funded schools – ‘School Magazine’ – helping to leverage advertising revenue to aid schools communicate with parents and their wider communities.
