Two PR and marketing specialists have banded together to launch a new training business.
Piece of Cake Training has been created by Sam White and Suzie Smith to help small and medium businesses develop their own in-house PR capabilities.
White explained: “We recognised that while many business owners in Cornwall want public relations and marketing support, the cost is often prohibitive.
“However, having talked to many clients, each identified that they had someone working within their business that could be trained to do this in-house – which is where we step in.”
Piece of Cake Training provides a range of courses from the basic level introduction to PR and marketing, through to writing skills and social media advice.
Smith added: “There are so many agencies and individuals offering media training as a sideline to other work they carry out, but we felt there was a clear need for a business solely dedicated to training, coaching and mentoring with no other distractions.”
