A technology start-up looking to “revolutionise the events sector across the UK” will be launching in the New Year.

And businesses will be able to snatch a sneak preview of Noodle Live at an event taking place at Pool Innovation Centre on Wednesday, December 12.

The brainchild of Clemi Hardie, Noodle Live has developed a system which will streamline information sharing at events, conferences and exhibitions, using a combination of swipe cards and mobile apps.

The system was developed to solve the problem of managing the vast amount of information, usually paper based, which is provided to delegates.

By using the Noodle Live technology, event attendees can collect valuable resources such as sales documents, speaker presentations and business cards, all with a the swipe of a card at signposted readers. This data is then stored in the cloud, ready to be accessed via smartphone or tablet and can then be shared with contacts via social media and email.

Noodle Live’s managing director, Clemi Hardie, said: “Mobile technologies and social media are changing the face of many businesses and the events industry is no different.

“The line between physical and digital is becoming ever more blurred meaning there is a real opportunity for systems which bridge this gap.”

The official launch of Noodle Live will take place in January, but local businesses are being given a preview in a real life scenario at Pool Innovation Centre on December 12.
