A new search engine optimisation (SEO) and digital marketing company has opened in Cornwall.
Ashley Hayward, MD of Bodmin-based Ascentem, says that it in today’s online world, it is crucial for a company to be listed highly in search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing.
He quotes figures claiming that 75% of users never scroll past the first page of search results. In addition, he says the same survey showed that 70% of the visits to websites are from organic rankings, thereby emphasising the importance of a well planned and delivered SEO strategy.
He said: “Search marketing is continually evolving and moving at such a pace that agencies need to be on top of their game if they want to provide the best service to their customers.”
