Coodes Solicitors has introduced fixed-price services and free initial interviews for new business start-ups to help entrepreneurs access affordable legal support.

The firm has also produced a series of videos offering business advice, available to view on YouTube.

Kirsty McAuley, who is leading on the new business start up support and is based in Coodes’ Truro office, said: “We see quite a few businesses that start up from a spare bedroom at home, and quickly become successful – growing into new offices, winning new contracts and taking on their first employees.

“As soon as your business starts to get off the ground, making sure you have the necessary legal arrangements in place becomes increasingly important.

“It is also important to ensure that you are using the most appropriate business vehicle. Not every business is suited to operate as a limited company and it is important that new businesses consider their options at an early stage.

“We want to make this easy and affordable to set up at the outset, so a new business starts with the right legal foundations to grow.”
