Accountancy firm Bishop Fleming is repeating its support for the Young Enterprise (YE) initiative to help school pupils to learn about business.
For the third year running, Bishop Fleming will support 16 secondary schools throughout the south west in the annual YE contest to find the most successful entrepreneurs in the classroom.
Alongside a sponsorship of £14k, Bishop Fleming will provide eight professional mentors.
Bishop Fleming’s support for YE also provides three board members to the organisation while, over recent years, Bishop Fleming’s senior partners have served as regional judges and event hosts.
Managing partner, Matthew Lee, said: “At a time when schools find it increasingly difficult to squeeze an understanding of business into the crowded curriculum, Young Enterprise is a superb way for schools to engage their pupils with the world of work.”
