Local law firm, Murrell Associates, has established a successful Enterprise Management Incentives (EMI) plan for a multi-million pound Cornish business.
The new scheme for Newquay-based Celtic Sheepskin & Co, recognises the crucial role its senior management team plays in the development of the business and allows them to participate in the company’s future successes.
The company is one of the largest suppliers of sheepskin footwear in the UK and the only one to still produce products by hand using British sheepskin.
Co-founder and director of Celtic Sheepskin, Nick Whitworth, sought advice on the scheme from Murrell Associates, specialists in corporate and commercial law.
Whitworth commented: “Our new share option plan lets us reward individuals for the contribution they make to the business and allow them to benefit from our ongoing success.
“Putting this scheme in place will ensure we have a stable company structure, with future growth potential.”
