Two new drinks products have been launched by Healeys Cyder Farm – Rattler 4% and Cornish Gold in bottles.
The new Rattler has been designed to be as close to original Rattler as possible in terms of taste – but with 2% less alcohol.
Commercial director, Joe Healey, explained: “Our original drink is hugely popular so we decided to make a lighter version – one that people can enjoy during the week when they’ve got work the next day.
“It taps into a slightly different market which is great for us in terms of sales. Demand and the response we are getting from customers have been excellent. It’s a great new addition to the Rattler range.”
Cornish Gold is a light, refreshing cyder (4.5% ABV) that was first introduced on draught in March 2014 and has been a huge success in the 150 or so outlets that it is currently sold ever since.
Making it available in bottles as well has resulted in a significant increase in sales.
“We’ve just produced the second run of Cornish Gold bottles earlier than expected because demand has been so high,” said Healey.
“The brand has just gained a listing in regional ASDA stores as well as being stocked by independent shops across the south west region.”
