Property consultancy Alder King has been named Most Active Agent in the South West by leading property publication Estates Gazette for the 13th year in succession.
The firm won the award for the number of deals completed in 2013 across the region in a competition which attracted a record-breaking level of entries.
Tom Duncan, head of agency at Alder King’s Truro office, commented: “We are absolutely delighted that our consistently high performance across the board has delivered us this highly prized regional award for a 13th time.
“While the volume of deals we’ve concluded is important, we’re also proud that we were instrumental in securing some of the largest and high profile instructions over the last year.”
And looking ahead, the outlook is equally as positive.
He said: “Prospects for the year ahead look increasingly positive, with occupier confidence on the increase. Two speculative industrial developments are currently underway in Cornwall with the benefit of ERDF funding including the Quintdowns Business Park near Newquay which is jointly marketed by Alder King.
“With further speculative new builds and refurbishments underway elsewhere in the south west, we look forward to building further on our market-leading position.”
