Kelsall Steele director, Clare Vaughan, raised £750 for charity at the weekend after taking part in the Sport Relief Swimathon.

Clare only took up swimming again in November, having struggled for many years with Crohn’s disease, and completed 100 lengths (2.5km) of the pool.

Her efforts also saw her feature in Sport Relief publicity material and receive an invite to a special Downing Street reception hosted by the Prime Minister.

She commented: “I have been very lucky in being sponsored by friends, family, work colleagues and clients who have all been very generous in their support.

“Attending the Downing Street reception was amazing and I am glad I have been able to raise a little bit towards such a good charity which helps so many causes.”
