Sarah Newton, MP for Truro and Falmouth, will also be attending the community event, hosted by Reflex Marine, as part of her ongoing support for the development of energy efficient solutions.

This event marks the start of Reflex Marine’s ‘Energy Express’ project.

CEO and co-founder of Reflex Marine, Philip Strong, said: “Because our approach involves minimal risk or disruption to the householder we believe it is going to be very popular.

“It may also be a first step to encourage householders to later take up a Green Deal, with the prospects of even deeper cuts in household energy bills.”

The longer-term goal is to provide a novel energy efficiency service to households in the UK and Europe under the Energy Express banner.

The model is based on packages of light touch measures that can be installed quickly, efficiently and cheaply with minimal disruption, low investment and bringing very early savings for the customer.

To help it to establish the ‘Energy Express’ approach, Reflex is offering to install a range of measures free of charge in a limited number of local homes in Shortlanesend as part of a market trial.

If you live in Shortlanesend and would like to attend the presentation, please contact Paul Johnson on 01872 248448.
