A Cornish firm of independent financial advisers was named runner-up last night at a leading national awards ceremony held at London’s Science Museum.
Truro and Wadebridge-based Worldwide Financial Planning finished second in the Small Advisor of the Year category in the FT Advisor Online Service Awards, behind Plan Money. Also shortlisted were Cawley Financial Services, John Eames Limited and Scotia Wealth Management.
For the first time in the award’s history, advisors were recognised for providing the best online proposition.
Worldwide director, Neil Chamberlain, said: “We’ve spent a great deal of time to ensure our website is a valuable resource for our clients and partners to find information about a range of financial matters including auto-enrolment pensions, employee benefits, mortgages, investments, saving and inheritance tax.
“Just being shortlisted is a great achievement as it shows that we offer the highest levels of service.”
