As part of the firm’s Planning Week, lawyers will be taking questions from businesses and individuals from June 3-9.

Chris Tofts, an associate in Stephens Scown’s Cornish planning team, commented: “The planning system has evolved in recent times and, as things move so quickly, Twitter provides us with the ideal opportunity to be as responsive as possible and to answer the growing number of queries people have on planning law.”

Renewable energy has been the backdrop to a planning sea change with multiple sites now operational across Cornwall.

Tofts added: “We’ve worked with more than 100 landowners on renewable energy projects and, as with any other forms of building, construction or development work, it is important to get the right advice up front to avoid potential expense later in the project.”
