The Truro-based business said the move was part of a growth strategy which has already seen the firm double its turnover in just three years.

Managing director, Stephen Watson, said: “This is a rare opportunity for the right candidate and our aim is to have a diploma-qualified fee earner within 15 months and for them to gain the prestigious Chartered Financial planning qualification in four years.”

Watson French is working with Unlocking Cornish Potential (UCP) in its search for its first graduate trainee.

Watson French has more than £100 million of funds under management including personal capital, business capital, employee pension schemes and pension fund assets.
