Ignition Credit has secured a lucrative new deal with the Formula Renault UK Championship.
The Truro-based company is providing the financing for a sizable part of the field for the motor sport event.
Simon North, promoter for Formula Renault, said: “Ignition Credit was recommended to me and they’ve put together an excellent financing package at a very competitive rate. The money has secured around half of the field of twenty cars, no mean feat in such a difficult financial climate.”
The Championship was founded over 20 years ago and attracts tens of thousands of spectators and national television coverage.
It’s long been a breeding ground for young drivers and is renowned for helping them in the first steps of their professional racing career – Lewis Hamilton, for example, won the title in 2003.
