Tulip Ltd has been shortlisted for a national award from food and grocery research and training charity, IGD.

The awards recognise successes in all areas including manufacturing, logistics, retail and human resources.

Tulip has received is nomination in the Learning and Development category, which “highlights a creative and innovative initiative that improves a company’s performance through its investment in staff training and development”.

Kirsty Wilkins, Tulip’s group HR director, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for such a prestigious award, as one of the region’s largest employers we know how important it is to provide our colleagues, at all levels of our organisation, the opportunity to develop and grow their careers with us.”

The winners of the IGD Awards will be announced at a ceremony held in London on October 7.

Tulip, which is one of the country’s leading food solutions businesses, has production facilities in Bodmin, Bugle and Redruth.
