Nick Latimir, who works in Coodes Solicitors’ private client department, has become a full member of the association of lawyers which specialises in legal services for older people.

He joins his colleagues Louise Southwell, Sarah Cornish and Rebecca Standing who are able to offer specialist support to the over 65s, who make up 25% of Cornwall’s population.

Latimir, who joined Coodes in January, said: “I’m very proud to be accepted as a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.

“People know the reputation that Coodes has for supporting elderly clients and I am pleased that I am able to add to that and support the team in providing the best care possible.

“One in four people in Cornwall are over 65, so the need for specialist and considered support for this section of the population is vitally important.”
