Property consultant Alder King has completed the sale of Trevear House, the former Penzance County Court, to the Alverton doctors’ practice.
The Practice will refurbish the imposing Grade II listed building after obtaining Listed Building Consent following consultation with Cornwall Council’s Historic Buildings Inspector.
Tom Duncan, head of agency at Alder King’s Truro office, said: “This property generated a lot of interest. By coincidence, it will now be returning to one of its former uses as it was a doctors’ surgery many years before it became the Penzance County Court.”
The asking price for the property was £250k and a price just below this level was achieved.
