More than fifty years of experience in the law and more than 30 years as Penryn’s only solicitor sees Chris Rose retiring from his sole practice and joining Hine Downing as a consultant.

Alongside his legal practice in the centre of Penryn, Rose has been Honorary Solicitor to Penryn Town Council and a Trustee of the ancient borough’s Town Trust, as well as holding the title of Notary Public – allowing him to deal with foreign oaths and documents.

Rose commented: “I am extremely fond of Penryn and Falmouth and in all my years here I have known and been associated with Hine Downing and the able lawyers and firms that it grew from, so they are certainly the natural choice for me to be associated with.”

Senior partner Roger Stephens at Hine Downing’s Falmouth-based offices has himself almost forty years’ legal experience under his belt. Stephens said: “We’ve had such close ties with Christopher over the years and we’re delighted that he is entrusting us with the care and best interests of his many loyal clients.”
