VisitEngland, the country’s national tourist board, has awarded its top rating of 5 Stars with a Gold Award to the first of the Budock Vean Hotel’s new luxury holiday homes on the Helford River.
Inspectors, awarding their highest accolade, have judged the new houses to be “furnished and presented to an excellent standard (with) ample parking and generous outdoor seating areas…situated in an ideal rural spot close to the town of Falmouth.”
“We are completely thrilled that VisitEngland has given its wholehearted endorsement to our beautiful new holiday homes,” said the Budock Vean’s owner Martin Barlow.
“Really outstanding places for people to spend their precious holidays are hard enough to come by, but we’ve created just that in our own little bit of Cornish paradise and it’s fantastic to know that the highest tourism authority in the land agrees that we’ve done a great job.”
