A Redruth firm has launched a new app heralded as the ultimate all-in-one aid for residents and visitors alike and with the potential to be emulated nationwide and overseas.
Seymac Distribution, Cornwall’s largest distributor of tourism promotional material, has invested £120k in the development of the AppforCornwall. The company describes it as by far the biggest app of its kind, with comprehensive details of what to do, where to go and general information.
The new app is now live and will be followed in about ten weeks’ time with the launch of AppforDevon, following a franchise agreement just concluded with Westward MS Ltd of South Brent.
Seymac, which has formed a dedicated subsidiary company, AppFor Ltd, is now aiming to roll out the franchise across Britain, county by county and city by city.
