Personal trainer and lifestyle coach, Brenton Doble, who is heading up the new Wellness Centre, said: “It was great fun to get players from the Cornish Pirates along for the official opening and they enjoyed putting the new equipment through its paces.

“After months of hard work refurbishing the new gym space and installing the new state of the art equipment, it’s great to now be in a position to welcome people through the doors.”

The new gym complements the hotel’s existing leisure offering which includes an indoor-heated swimming pool, sauna and hot tub.
