Cornwall’s Crealy Great Adventure Park is reporting its busiest summer season in seven years.

The family adventure park saw an increase of 20% more visitors over the school holidays this year compared with the same period in 2012.

With footfall beating targets on 40 of the 45 days, the attraction took 26% more revenue than the previous year and 11% more than in its most successful year of 2006.

General manager, Simon Townsend, said: “The fantastic summer weather we’ve had has been a big factor in this year’s success. Around 70% of our trade is from out-of-county visitors and the Cornish sunshine has been a big draw for holiday makers.”
