The Cornwall based catering company, specialising in street food, won a tender with Cornwall Council to select representatives of Cornwall’s finest produce to stage ‘The Cornish Pavilion’ at one of the biggest festivals in France.

The Interceltic Festival, in Lorient, South of Brittany, attracts 650,000 visitors each year and takes place over a ten day period in August, with the aim of bringing together art, culture, food and drink from the Celtic nations of Europe.

The selected suppliers are Trevethick’s Pastys, whose award winning pasties are based on an old family recipe; The Rebel Brewing Comapny’s high quality, hand-crafted artisan beer; St Ives Cider, a range of hand-crafted artisan ciders; delicious Cornish cream teas with components made up of  The Cornish Mill & Bakehouse scones, Boddington’s Berries’ jam, Tregothnan’s tea and Trewithen Dairy’s clotted cream and milk.

Richard Musgrave, Owner and Head Chef of Downright Delicious said: “We are looking forward to exhibiting a range of produce and know that the fine Cornish suppliers we have selected will do Cornwall proud.”

Malcolm Bell Head of Tourism, at Visit Cornwall said:  “This major international festival is an amazing showcase for Cornwall and will highlight the fantastic local food and drink scene.”
