A new website has been launched specialising in the last minute self-catering holiday market.
The brainchild of Newquay-based businesswoman Emily Franklin of Country View Cottages, latelettings.com is aimed at both owners and holidaymakers, offering a range of late availability properties across the UK.
She explained: “Owning more than 30 quality Cornwall-based self-catering properties myself, I looked around for a late availability site where I could list any that hadn’t let close to the booking date – and there just wasn’t anything dedicated to this market, or to providing the kind of control that I was seeking as the owner.
“So rather than get involved with a service that either demanded a massive commission or high charges, and that also demanded a certain level of prices for the consumer, I decided to set-up my own.
“Late Lettings has just gone live and we already have a number of very exciting properties that are being listed. We are happy to work with private owners and agencies alike to help them solve the challenge of un-let properties.”
