A specialist internet holiday cottage agency is reporting a 21% increase in its like-for-like bookings compared to this time last year.
cornwallscottages.co.uk, which markets accommodation on behalf of owners throughout the county, has also doubled its overall growth in the same period.
Attributing the business’ success to offering a good value and efficient service, MD Richard Beaman, said: “Customers are tending to book last minute holidays but it is extremely price sensitive.
“Perceived value for money is key and we have to ensure that our customers, as well as our owners, get their money’s worth.”
The company, which was launched four years ago with just three properties, now has more than 200 on its books and employs seven staff.
