Cornish business leaders discovered how Britain’s ‘Local Airline’ is looking to put the pleasure back into business travel at a networking event at Newquay Cornwall Airport last week.
The evening was a joint initiative of Air Southwest and Newquay Cornwall Airport, supported by Cornwall Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and provided an opportunity for more than 50 business people from across the county to view the airport’s new executive lounge and receive an update on the airline’s air links from Newquay to ten destinations across the UK and Ireland.
Earlier this year Air Southwest enhanced travel between Cornwall and the capital with the launch of a new service to London City Airport. With a choice of up to six flights a day to London, the new business lounge is proving to be particularly beneficial for Air Southwest business passengers travelling to London City and Gatwick Airports.
