expowest Cornwall gets underway tomorrow, with the event looking set to be more crucial than ever for catering and hospitality businesses preparing for the coming season.

The Royal Cornwall Showground in Wadebridge (March 3-5) is the venue for the show, which is now in its 29th year. Visitors can expect a comprehensive collection of local and national suppliers offering everything to meet the needs of anyone running a business in the hospitality and catering industry.

Peter Sugden, MD of Truro-based organiser Exhibitions South West, said: “With the tourism and hospitality sector being such a vital element to the Cornish economy the event has become a must date in the diary. This year is as important as ever and traders recognise the importance of having a presence at the show.

“This year’s event looks set to be a pivotal trading period for businesses across the county and there has never been a better time to be able to meet face to face with new and existing customers and the feeling is that there are real deals to be made.”

People attending expowest include owners and managers of hotels, guest houses, pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafes and convenience food outlets planning and preparing for the up-coming season. Exhibitors will be showcasing a massive variety of products and services for the food, drink and hospitality sectors as well as an ever increasing variety of related businesses, from retail outlets to conferencing facilities.
