Newquay Aiport has announced details of a new summer service to Birmingham.
Flybe will fly the route which will commence on May 16 and operate seven days a week throughout the summer months.
As well as providing key inbound tourist traffic from the midlands, Birmingham’s onward connectivity will also appeal to those closer to home.
Airport MD, Al Titterington, said: “This new service is a boost for the airport and Cornish residents. The possibility of flying further afield to places like Dubai will also become more convenient with Birmingham Airport giving access to Emirates’ worldwide network.
“The airport is continually looking to improve accessibility to and from Cornwall and the new Birmingham service will ultimately boost the economy by encouraging visitors.”
