Cornish designer Poppy Treffry is set to open her second shop, right on the quay in Padstow.

The team is working hard to get the shop ready to open on Thursday (Dec 1), coinciding with the Padstow Christmas Festival.

“Padstow is such a busy and popular town that it seemed like the most natural place to open my second shop,” said Treffry.

“On a personal level it’s a special place to me as it’s where my Grandparents lived and so it feels amazing to be opening here, they would have been very proud.”

Treffry, who opened her first shop in St Ives six years ago, added: “I’m so excited to be opening another shop, it’s a lovely way to tell our story to customers.”

The company is well known for its quirky, colourful textile gifts, homewares and accessories featuring seaside scenes, animals and bicycles.
