A deal which will see national Italian restaurant chain Prezzo opening a new branch in St Austell has now been formally signed.
The letting of the 3,200 sq ft unit at White River Place was completed on last week, and work to fit out the restaurant is due to begin next mont.
It will be only the second Prezzo restaurant in Cornwall, and is scheduled to open by late April.
Located in Aylmer Square, near to TK Maxx, the new Prezzo restaurant will add to White River Place’s existing food and leisure offer, which includes the White River Place Cinema, Frankie & Benny’s, the Eden Café and Costa Coffee.
Centre owners Ellandi will be investing £500k in fitting out the unit for Prezzo, and say that the chain’s decision to open in White River Place is a vote of confidence in St Austell town centre.
