A new brand is launching on the Cornish north coast this spring.
Opening in March on the front at Mawgan Porth beach, the Roo’s Beach gift shop will stock “an eclectic mix of products from all over the world with an emphasis on colour, print, style, originality, femininity and quality”.
And sitting alongside this will be Roo’s Beach own brand; a range of bohemian-inspired beach towels and related products for which the brand has collaborated with local designer Lottie Warren. The brand development and graphic design also enlisted local designer Nathan Lance, utilising fresh talent from the Duchy.
The concept is the brainchild of creative and self confessed hoarder Roo Cross, who explained: “The eclectic mix of products is very much a celebration of beach life with an added edge, combining practicality with fun,” she explained.
“Products have been sourced from around the world as far as Australia and Hawaii on the basis of their compatibility for life on our surfing Cornish coast.”
In May, the brand will also launch online allowing the portfolio of products to be available to a wider market.
