Cornwall Council has approved a planning application for a Costa Coffee shop in Helston.
The lease, at the former Dorothy Perkins store in Meneage Street, was negotiated by chartered surveyor Miller Commercial.
Partner at the agency, Mike Nightingale, said: “The fact that Costa Coffee are investing in Helston is a positive sign for the town’s retail future.”
Costa’s decision to invest in the town comes as new figures show the town’s vacancy rates have dropped to 6.6%, compared to a national average of 14.5%.
