A group of Truro’s multiple and independent businesses are linking up to put on seasonal fashion shows in the city.
Supported by Totally Truro Business Improvement District, the aptly named event ‘Truro Trend…get this seasons new look’ will take place four times a year – each focusing on a new season of fashion and collaborating with different businesses across the city to bring shoppers of Truro the latest trends.
BID manager Neil Scott said: “Truro is the retail centre of Cornwall and boasts an enviable range of independent shops and multiples. In a compact city centre, this strong and diverse mix is unique and it is very positive to see businesses collaborating in this way.
“We intend to grow this event throughout the year and encourage other multiple and independent retailers across the city to join in.”
The first event will be hosted by New Look on Pydar Street, on Saturday May 29 at 10:00am.
