Brian Wick, managing partner at Wickers’ said: “Being big fans of the Cornish Pirates, we didn’t want them having to play a crucial match without any supporters cheering them on.

“This flight is also a great opportunity to bring players and fans together which I’m sure will create an exciting atmosphere in the run up to the game with, hopefully, victorious celebrations on our return.”

Roger Hawke, managing director of Newells, said: “This is a big match for everyone involved with the Cornish Pirates and so as a local travel agent, we wanted to offer loyal supporters in the county the chance to support their team.

“It can be hard to arrange flights and transfers for an event like this that are not too costly and this is where our package comes in.

Cornish Pirates’ team manager, Jan Rendall, said: “With this is mind, we have made the journey as reasonable and hassle free as possible allowing people to sit back, relax and enjoy the day without any worries of travelling.”

“Playing away is always so much better when you have a decent fan base cheering you on, and the Pirates’ fans certainly know how to make a good noise!

“The team is in great shape and we intend for the trip home to be a celebration!”

The flight from Newquay to Dublin on Friday, November 27 costs ÂŁ199 per person and includes coach transfers throughout the day and all taxes.
