George Eustice MP (l) with Linden Homes MD Bill Cawse

Local MP George Eustice visited Linden Homes’ Boslowen development in Camborne recently to view latest progress at the regeneration development.

Eustice commented: “The development at Boslowen is taking shape quickly and I think the Easy Start shared equity scheme to help first time buyers which Linden operates is very important.

“When it comes to building our housing I have always argued that we should focus on brown-field sites first and should resist the temptation to allow mass house-building on green-field sites.”

Bill Cawse, managing director of Linden Homes, added: “It was great to have George Eustice MP visit our Boslowen development. The new homes will breathe new life into Camborne and it’s good to see that most of the homes have been sold to local people, keen to get on the property ladder.”

He added: “Sales have been fantastic in the short time we have been here, we have reserved 34 homes already and we’ve only just opened our new show home.”

Boslowen, which is Cornish for ‘happy home’, will include 396 new homes, spread over four phases of construction. The site was previously the location of the old Holman Brothers factory and will comprise a range of apartments, coach houses plus two, three and four bedroom houses.
