Nationwide Print has invested more than £200k in three new pieces of kit and associated software.

The St Austell-based printer has purchased a new Duplo booklet maker and perfect binding machine, and a Morgana creaser, folder and perforator – all of which will help the firm keep up with orders from current clients as well as attract new business in the year ahead.

MD, Julian Hocking, explained: “The new equipment will allow us to produce a wide variety of booklets and books with improved speed and efficiency, to an extremely high standard.

“The machines will integrate perfectly with our existing litho and digital printers, and are extremely versatile pieces of kit.”

The arrival of these top-of-the-range machines and software reflects sustained growth at Nationwide Print. And as Hocking explained, print still forms an important part of the marketing mix for his clients.

“The firms we work with are extremely adept in all forms of digital marketing,” he said. “Yet they return to print to reinforce their brand. For example, when browsing luxury watches or choosing a special spa treatment, customers still like to hold a high-quality, beautifully designed brochure in their hands.”
