Funding secured through three Convergence projects has allowed a St Austell-based company to add three new members to its team.

St Austell Printing Company (SAPC) gained funding from the Business Investment for Growth fund (BIG), Superfast Business Cornwall (SFBC) and Unlocking Potential.

Joining the firm as a result are Stef Bell, St Austell Conference Centre duty manager, Cat Wilkins, marketing and communications manager, and Ben Pipe, who has joined the design and digital print team.

Beth Mayman, SAPC’s operations manager, said: “Over the last year we have been looking at three specific projects to help us grow and develop the business.

“We were lucky enough to gain support to help us develop these and it’s great that we could add Stef, Cat and Ben to our team as a result.”

The BIG funding allowed the firm to invest in state of the art AV and video conferencing equipment for the St Austell Conference Centre, while the Superfast Cornwall funding has allowed the firm to research and develop a web to print system, as well as plan the integration of a CRM system.

The funding from Unlocking Potential has allowed SAPC to bolster its marketing team.

Mayman added: “Since we relocated to the St Austell Business Park we have seen rapid growth and demand for a range of services. We anticipate the web to print solution will enable us to provide improved service to our current customers and attract new ones.”
