The Aawen Design team outside their new Lemon Street office

A Cornish design agency is relocating its office to Truro’s city centre in a move to expand the business.

Aawen Design Studio, which has been based at Penstraze Business Centre near Chacewater for 11 years, is moving to 19 Lemon Street – the business heart of the city – from the beginning of July.

Creative director Adrian Taylor explained: “Many of our clients are based around Truro, the office on Lemon Street will make us a great deal more accessible.”

The move comes at a time when one of the team has been shortlisted for an Unlocking Cornish Potential (UCP) award for business growth.

Sam Manley has been nominated by UCP for “Catalyst to Business Growth” following his work in web development and animation for the company.

Aawen will be joined at the new office by Rob Wheele of Wheelhouse Design, who is expanding his business, which already has an office in Brighton, into Cornwall.
