Torbay-based residential property management company TMS Group has its eyes firmly set on Cornwall following the acquisition of a Saltash business.
TMS has acquired the property management division of Hunt Associates for an undisclosed sum. It hopes the deal will help boost annual turnover by £100k.
TMS Group chairman David Rayment said: “Acquiring the property services aspect of Hunt Associates’ business is an important step in our growth strategy. The 34 schemes we’ve gained through this acquisition gives us a much stronger footing in south west Cornwall and a good launch pad from which to develop our client base in the wider county of Cornwall.”
The acquisition will see Hunt Associates’ proprietor, Paul Clahane, join TMS in a consultancy role.
Clahane explained: “The acquisition enables us to concentrate on our core business of lettings and financial advice.”
