Two of the south west’s leading spring water companies have merged in a deal that will allow greater reach and efficiency across Cornwall and Devon.

Cornwall-based Cascade Springs Water Company and Plymouth-based South West Water Coolers have joined forces and will trade under the name of H2O on the Go!

With all water now coming from Cascade’s own spring in Wadebridge, the new company will retain South West Water Coolers’ Plymouth depot for distribution across Devon.

Cascade’s managing director, William Hiley, has become H2O on the Go’s CEO, while South West Water Coolers’ Richard Dundon and Matt Stimpson have become managing director and finance director respectively.

Hiley explained: “While our customers already enjoy a high quality service and product, this move will allow us to give a more efficient service to our clients across Cornwall and Devon.

The new management team (L-R) MD Richard Dundon; CEO William Hiley; finance director Matt Stimpson (kneeling).

“By utilising the depot in Plymouth we will be able to enjoy a greater reach into Devon meaning that more businesses and organisations can benefit from our delicious Cornish spring water.”

The company, which will have its headquarters in Wadebridge, has retained its depot in Plymouth.

Dundon added: “Cascade is a company that has a great reputation and one that we’re pleased to be working alongside.

“William has a great idea of how he wants to develop the business, which fits in with us, and this merger will allow us and our new company, H2O on the Go! to achieve those aims.

“It’s a very exciting opportunity for both businesses and a great way to start the New Year.”
