Camborne-based sustainable energy consultancy Enact Energy has undergone a significant group restructure over the last 12 months, encompassing growth, promotion and relocation to reflect ongoing company expansion.

In the past year, Enact has grown from a staff of 30 to over 100, a reflection of the Cornish company’s UK-wide strength and resilience in an otherwise economically unstable period.

Of the structural changes, most notable is Enact’s UK-based general counsel and company secretary, Sonya Pennington, who has just been promoted to the role of legal and projects director.

Pennington became an official member of the Enact team a year ago, after working with the company externally for five years as a lawyer.

The company says her promotion offers “an injection of new inspired dynamism” to the existing board of directors currently at the helm of Enact Energy Management Ltd in the UK and Enact Energy Pty Ltd, Enact’s Australian counterpart.

Installer manager Adrian Kellow, meanwhile, has been promoted to the new role of renewable technology manager.
