The managing board is supported by a team of professional managers who are responsible for implementation on a day-to-day basis.

Currently Coodes has 19 partners and 140 staff across its seven offices in Cornwall and Devon.

Managing partner Jeremy Harvey said: “As we continue to grow, it has become apparent that we need a more streamlined approach to our management.

“Previously, we had committees with responsibility for various aspects of the firm such as marketing, finance and human resources, but with a smaller team of partners overseeing the firm’s development it becomes more manageable.”

Peter Lamble, based in Truro will lead on human resources while Heather Stokes at Coodes Penzance office will head up finance and accounts.

Mike Gregson, based at Newquay will lead on IT, whilst Ian Taylor, also based in Coodes Truro office will be responsible for the firm’s marketing strategy.

Mr Taylor said: “Bringing together this new management board is a great step forward for Coodes.

“It allows us to concentrate on our strengths and become more efficient in our decision making whilst continuing to do what we do best – providing excellent legal advice and client service throughout the Cornish community.”
