Fast expanding Cornwall law firm, Foot Anstey Hancock Caffin, have appointed seven new partners as part of their strategy to recognise the achievements of lawyers offering the best legal advice to businesses, organisations and individuals.

The seven new partners are David Ellis, James Heath, Kelvin Farmaner, Gavin Poole, David Stone, Patricia Wass and Philip Wolfgang.

David Ellis is commercial property lawyer specialising in residential development.

James Heath offers advice to developers and to banks providing finance for development projects.

Kelvin Farmaner advises clients on insurance litigation and his experience extends to representing clients before the House of Lords

Gavin Poole advises on all aspects of commercial property and business sales and purchases.

David Stone regularly advises clients on all aspects of commercial property, in particular landlord and tenant transactions, acquisitions and disposals, a large proportion of which is within the retail sector.

Patricia Wass deals with wills, trusts, lifetime tax planning, issues relating to law and the elderly, Court of Protection work and property work relating to private clients.

Philip Wolfgang also advises developers but with a particular emphasis on secured lending, including buying and selling development land, drafting and negotiating development agreements, perfecting security for financial institutions and advising on property issues in relation to corporate acquisitions and disposals.
