Do you know what grants are available to help your business grow? Are you confident your business is tax efficient? Do you know how best to unlock funds and accelerate cash flow?

Robinson Reed Layton, the independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisers, is hosting a free breakfast event ‘Unlocking Funds for Business Growth’ in partnership with Lloyds Bank.

The event, at the Old Quay House in Hayle on November 16, is targeted at local business owners planning to grow their business. Topics to be discussed include grant opportunities for business growth, tax considerations when raising additional funds and maximising working capital.

Speaking at the event will be tax partner Steve Maggs, and grants specialist Alison Elvey, along with Lloyds Bank Commercial Finance’s regional manager Simon King.

Maggs, who will be addressing the need for businesses to regularly review their funding for growth, said: “A lot of businesses in Cornwall are experiencing growth, and I frequently find that they are outgrowing their existing business model. In these cases, it’s important to review their company structure and tax arrangements to make sure they are fully maximising the funds available within the company.”
