The annual Cornwall Hub Awards is one of the many highlights on the local business networking calendar next week.
The Penventon Park Hotel in Redruth is the venue for the awards ceremony, which is now in its 13th year, on Thursday, November 24.
Six categories are up for grabs including the coveted Cornish Business of the Year, which will be contested between ISO Spaces, Headforwards or Cornwall Solar Panels.
That Thursday offers a packed day of networking opportunities, with other highlights including a free seminar at the Pool Innovation Centre hosted by IT West and Stephens Scown, addressing the top tech threats facing businesses today; and a Cornwall College Business networking breakfast in Truro.
There are also special seminars from Bishop Fleming and PKF Francis Clark debriefing on the previous day’s Autumn Statement.
Other networking events to look forward to next week include Cornwall Chamber’s monthly Big Breakfast event, which is being held at the Falmouth Hotel on Tuesday, and the imaginatively named ‘Get Your S*** Done’, which takes place in Truro on Friday.
