The recent Cornwall Business Show is being hailed as the most successful yet.

A total of 114 businesses took stands at the event earlier this month, which was held in the exhibition halls at the Royal Cornwall Showground.

While exact visitor numbers have yet to be finalised, organisers estimate that nearly 1,000 people attended.

Show managing director, Andrew Weaver, said: “There was a really good quality of visitor this year – there were lots of decision-makers, not just from Cornwall but nationally, and we have had tremendously favourable feedback from exhibitors.

“Lots of people have already been in touch to volunteer the fact that the show helped them to generated good numbers of leads and make valuable contacts.

“I am very pleased with how it’s gone.”

The date for next year’s event has already been confirmed. Cornwall Business Show 2017 will take place on Thursday, March 16.

Meanwhile, the next date on the exhibition calendar is the Cornwall Business Fair, which will be held during Cornwall Business Week, at the Eden Project on May 11.
