Rotary Evolution is calling out for new members to join its Truro-based club, with a series of events.

Part of the Rotary Club of Truro, Rotary Evolution offers a “light-touch opportunity” for people to find out more about this international service organisation and get involved with community projects.

The events, called ‘Rotary Evolution – What’s It All About?’, take place on September 10, September 25 and October 3 at Kasbah in Truro.

Communications officer for Rotary Evolution, Rachel Picken, said: “It’s a really good opportunity to get involved with people in and out of your community and make a difference.

“I meet lots of people who are interested in the work of Rotary but don’t always have time to commit to a traditional club. We meet once a month and roll our sleeves up on simple projects that make a positive impact.

“We’re very inclusive – we welcome men and women of all ages from 20-somethings upwards. There is also no pressure to join Rotary International straight away – it’s a chance to dip your toe in the water and find out if it’s for you.”
