For people who are running a new business or thinking of starting a business in 2015, Unlocking Potential is once again offering its package of support.

During a taster event on December 16, the organisation will be showcasing the support available to Cornish businesses and budding entrepreneurs with the message that when starting a business, you don’t need to do it alone.

The Unlocking Potential Start-up offer includes a place on a Start-up Bootcamp, mentoring from a skills coach and a personalised skills development programme featuring industry-led workshops.

Director, Allyson Glover, explained: “We’ve supported over 150 start-ups who have used us as a sounding board for their new idea, benefited from really valuable information and been offered a friendly, and knowledgeable guiding hand.

“We’ve linked people with the contacts and experts that they need, provided important business skills training and helped them to find the finance needed to get underway. Most importantly we’ve connected them with other like-minded start-ups creating a community of support which means not having to be on your own in the crucial early stages.”

The event will be held at the Health and Wellbeing Innovation Centre, Truro form 1pm-5pm December 16 and is free to attend.
