Farmer Lesley Prior will be travelling to Cornwall with her Bowmont sheep for the first time to visit the Finisterre workshops in St Agnes in celebration of the brand’s Bowmont Project.

Visitors will get the chance to find out firsthand about the Bowmont Project, meet the sheep and discover why these animals are so special.

Finisterre developed its Bowmont Project with an aim to produce luxury merino wool garments which are entirely sourced and made in Britain.

Its research into reviving British Merino led to the collaboration with farmer Lesley Prior from Devon, the only UK breeder of the rare Bowmont sheep.

The Open day this Saturday (December 14) at Finisterre’s workshop at Wheal Kitty, will run from 10am to 5pm, with Lesley Prior and her sheep there from 12-3pm.
